Baptism

Baptisms are celebrated by appointment. To arrange for a baptism, please phone the parish office.

All parents are requested to come and talk to the priest before hand.

The Sacraments of Initiation are administered each year around May or June. The Sacraments have been administered for the year 2010.

The process of faith formation and preparation for those who desire to become Catholics. The programme commences around the middle of the year, with candidates being received into the Church at Easter. Enquiries to the parish secretary.

Marriage

Couples wishing to marry in 'Our Lady Of Lourdes' church should contact the Parish Priest as soon as possible and before setting a date for the wedding.

It is a requirement that couple wishing to marry in the Catholic Church undertake a Pre-Marriage Course. Couples need to enrol for the course at least six months prior to the wedding day.

Anointing of the Sick

This sacrament is for those affected by sickness or old age including those facing a serious operation.

It is given in the church on the First Friday every three months, in 2010 on March 5, June 1, September 7 and December 7 at the 10am Mass.

About those dates Father visits the homes and rest homes of those who can not come to the church. In cases of sudden serious illness, call Father at any time.
